Summer is coming and the idea of going on holidays is looking less and less like a mirage, after a long season of hard work.
We humans have countless options, but what about our pet friends?
Every summer, numerous campaigns against abandoning pets are issued, to raise awareness among families and convincing them to take their own furry friend with them when they go on holiday, perhaps selecting pet-friendly hotels where the pet can have fun and relax together with its owners.
Techies, rejoice! The “Amici Onlus” app, which we’ve mentioned before, is alive and well. If you’re not that confident when it comes to technology, go ahead and read the list of three Italian beaches where you can take your dog and enjoy your vacation together.
Several Italian beaches are equipped to receive pets, with water bowls, beach umbrellas, and play areas. Some of the most famous are:
- Baubeach, in Lazio. Since 1998 it offers dogs free access to the beach and the sea. 7,000 square metres of freedom, and no leash required!
Now you have no more excuses not to take your pet on vacation with you!
- Doggy Beach, at Lignano Sabbiadoro, is a very well equipped beach, with a self-service grooming area that includes Jacuzzi and drying area, an agility court, and a dog instructor;
- Baba Beach, at Alassio, is a luxury beach with top-level services for pets and owners alike, with a beach bar, restaurants, and well-being areas.
