For the fifth consecutive year, the most unusual parade in the province of Vicenza will star puppies and their owners in Carnival masks. The eye-catching masked parade has become an established and successful part of the Malo Carnival, now in its 91st year – one of the oldest and best known of the Veneto.
The Dog Carnival Show features dogs and owners, enjoying themselves in their costumes. Preparations are already in full swing, owners of puppies of all sizes – pedigree and otherwise – know the date, and many have already signed up to open the Malo Carnival parade on Sunday 8th February, before being judged by the jury in Piazza Zanini. It’s a fun way to spend a few hours in the open air in the company of our four-legged friends. The most amusing costume will win a prize, and the owners are asked to dress up too, of course. The winner will get a weekend stay for two people, and their puppy. We at Ferplast are strong backers of this event, and you still have a few days left to sign up and participate. Don’t miss out and do try to be creative! For more information and to register, please contact the event organiser, Franca Martini at +39 340 8251200
