TREND ALERT: TOTAL ANIMAL LOOK

Givenchy, Valentino, Miu Miu and now Ferplast too, we all go nuts for animal prints for the winter 2015/2016 season

It’s true, the leopard print has come back among even the most fashionable dogs and we here at Ferplast could not but go along and update our collection of coats with this wild look – to the delight of all of our four-legged friends.

The ‘animalier’ style was first introduced by Christian Dior in 1947 for his Spring/Summer collection. Since then, no one has been able to resist the allure of this somewhat eccentric but elegant and refined look.

In the 1950-60s animalier prints were considered a classic for even the most refined of women, for actresses and anyone who wanted to wear something different than was dictated by the era’s fashion.

As the years went by, changes in fashion notwithstanding, the leopard print often renewed itself and has conquered the hearts of fashion lovers like us. Many fashion houses – Givenchy, Miu Miu and Valentino – are bringing it back once again this year. And our dogs certainly don’t want to be left behind!

Our four-legged friends want to be as trendy as the next and are always on the lookout for a nice lively style that fits in with the look their human friends also prefer. This year, the animal print has become the star of the Ferplast coat collection for Kingo dogs, so that they can face winter with that extra flair!

But not just clothes! Toto can now also have a Ferplast animal print bed, carrier, stuffed toys, food bowl, Amigo cover and collars! And even one of our most popular items, the small dog carrier called With Me Winter, has been given a soft synthetic fur trim.

What this means is that if we want to match our look to that of our dog this winter, all we have to do is choose one!
